Right now, whenever you come to scrapbook at Safari there will be NO CHARGE for Open Crop Time whenever you spend a minimum of $7.00 in merchandise!
Open crop time begins when the store opens and continues through one hour before store closing (or one hour before a class that evening) and is not valid during any classes or special events.
"Open Crop" is not a class, and each individual works on their own, utilizing both the tools available inside the service center along with the convenience of having the store at your fingertips. The regular cost is $1.50 per 1/2 hour per person or any portion thereof.
In order to serve all of our crop room croppers we do ask that you call ahead to assure availability for your convenience. Call ahead croppers will have space held for a reasonable amount of time to allow for arrival and we do not take specific date reservations ahead of time (private large group parties exempted).
Moonlighter & HOT Moonlighter
When? Most Friday nights throughout the year! How long? Twelve hours!
Time? Moonlighters are Noon-Midnight & "HOT" Moons are 2:00pm-2:00am

"Thankful" Altered Canvas

We will use the new Kimberly Poloson papers (she’s an amazing designer), tons of flowers, paint, crackle finishes and we’ll even make shutters! The main canvas will adorn a 5x7 horizontal photo and we’ll even dress up the back of the canvases. This will be a perfect centerpiece for your Thanksgiving Dinner table. It's always the special little touches on gifts that people sincerely appreciate and one of the easiest and more fun ways to add a special touch to your holiday gifts is by putting on a homemade gift tag. It's like putting a mini scrapbook page on a present! You will receive everything in your kit to make enough tags to put on every present you give and, if you need more, you can always purchase another kit! This class is early enough in the season that you will have them ready for all your gift giving needs. Marah grew up in a family whose motto was, and still is, “to think and be outside the box.” Her parents—an artistic mother and a father who taught her to love the written word—both believed in the importance of imagination and cultivation of creativity. As a teen, it was not unusual to find Marah perusing local flea markets, wandering through card shops, or spending hours at art supply stores. Experimentation is the key to Marah’s art—she is always striving to try something new, whether it’s new combinations of colors, textures, or techniques. On any given day, she can be found in her studio with a blowtorch in one hand and a paintbrush in the other. A designer for Creative Imaginations, Hampton Arts, and Michael Miller Fabrics, Marah currently resides in California with her three daughters.

If you prefer to register by phone, you may pay by credit card. We accept
Visa and Mastercard. We do not take registrations by e-mail.
We have a 72 hour cancellation policy. If you
cannot make the class, please be considerate of others on the waiting
list and call in advance. If it is after the 72 hour deadline, we will
try to fill the spot for you. If we cannot, your payment will not be
refunded. Thank you for your understanding.
Please, no cell phones during class. Please turn
them off, or to vibrate mode.
No children under 12 are permitted in the classroom. (Sleeping babies
