Celebrate the Fall with our Spooky Scrapbook Extravaganza Friday, October 24th- Sunday, October 26th Three Entire days to crop to your heart's content With 36 hours of crop time!$160.00 FREAKY FRIDAY begins 3:00pm as we kick off the Extravaganza with twelve hours of croppin' along with music, massage, snacks, sodas, games, prizes & surprises as we continue to 3:00am! Includes: Catered dinner, Dessert, Midnight toast & snack SPOOKY SATURDAY begins straight up at 10:00am with SEVENTEEN full hours of crazy fun-filled scrappin' as the fun continues throughout the day with MORE games, MORE prizes, a midnight toast and, of course, MORE food too...oh yeah!...and the croppin' continues again 'til 3:00am! Includes: Catered Lunch, Catered dinner, Dessert, Midnight toast & yummies SCARY SUNDAY is set for 10:00am & caps off our Extravaganza three day crop and play with a final eight hours of sharing, laughter, goodies, games, massage and just havin' some good scrappin' fun with all the new friends we've made over the weekend as we say our farewells to a wonderful weekend at 5:00pm! Marah Johnson is coming back to Scrapbook Safari Saturday, November 15, 2008 Take a walk on the WILD side an incredible mini book using her brand new Safari line (We like to think she designed it just for Scrapbook Safari!) 10am-12pm Fashionista 101 A class where you will make fabulous jewelry for yourself or as gifts for the holidays using incredible new techniques 1pm-4pm Please go to our class descriptions for all the details You will want to sign up right away...this is one talented lady and we are thrilled to welcome her back Marah Johnson Marah grew up in a family whose motto was, and still is, “to think and be outside the box.” Her parents—an artistic mother and a father who taught her to love the written word—both believed in the importance of imagination and cultivation of creativity. As a teen, it was not unusual to find Marah perusing local flea markets, wandering through card shops, or spending hours at art supply stores. Experimentation is the key to Marah’s art—she is always striving to try something new, whether it’s new combinations of colors, textures, or techniques. On any given day, she can be found in her studio with a blowtorch in one hand and a paintbrush in the other. A designer for Creative Imaginations, Hampton Arts, and Michael Miller Fabrics, Marah currently resides in California with her three daughters.

 

Greetings from Scrapbook Safari,

So much is happening here at Safari we don't even know where to begin!. Jill, Jenn and 30 croppers have just returned from our amazing 3 day cruise to Ensenada and we all just had an incredible time...so sorry we could not have taken you all with us. We cropped and we laughed and we ate, and we cropped and we stopped and saw the sights and we cropped, and we took classes and we made new friends, and all in all it was a blast. While we were away on the high seas, back at the store on Terra Firma, Vera, Patti, Jane and Kerry enjoyed a room full of 32 croppers at our 14 hour crop.

The fun just doesn't end...look what we have to look forward to in the upcoming months...Spooky Extravaganza is coming up the weekend of October 24-26, 36 hours of unbelievable cropping time, along with all the extras we throw in just to be sure you have a blast. We still have spaces, but they are filling up fast.Our ever popular Friday night moonlighters until 2am are almost every week, so if you have not attended one in a while, now is the time to come on in. As usual, our instructors are bringing us amazing classes, you need to stop by and check them out, and on Saturday, November 15, we welcome back Marah Johnson for 2 phenomenal classes. So...get ready, get set...come in and crop a while.

Starting in October, our hours will be changing. Tuesday through Friday we will be opening an hour earlier, at 9am instead of 10am. We will be closing at 7pm instead of 9pm, so please check the new times listed. The rest of the hours remain the same. Please note- we will be closing at 5pm on October 31 so that we can have fun at Halloween.

Starting in October, we are going to be doing a monthly drawing of all VIP cards redeemed. When you redeem your full VIP card, you will be entered into a drawing. Be sure to put your name and phone number on the back of your redeemed cards. The monthly winner will get.....drum roll please... a full VIP card, valued at $10.00.
